Easter
Easter Promotion is a small shop event that promotes shopping local in our community. Shoppers can submit their receipts from local stores for a chance to win a prize.
Freedom Fest
Freedom Fest is held the weekend of July 4th. There will be vendor booths as well as a 5K run, a car show, a waterfight, a cornhole tournament, and a pet parade.
Farmer's Market
The farmers’ market is a lively community gathering featuring fresh local produce, handmade goods, and unique vendors from the area and beyond. Visitors can enjoy delicious bites from food trucks and relax to the sounds of live music while exploring a vibrant local marketplace.
Trunk or Treat
Trunk or Treat is a free event for the community. Businesses come together in Triangle Park to pass out candy and treats to trick-or-treaters, along with fun activities, festive decorations, and a safe, family-friendly atmosphere.
Christmas Traditions
Christmas Traditions is a shop local event to promote shopping local in our community. Shoppers can submit receipts from participating businesses for festive prizes while enjoying the holiday spirit around town.
Western Gala
As the sole fundraiser for the chamber, the Western Gala brings businesses and community members together to celebrate all of the outstanding people that make up Fossil Basin. The gala is a night full of good food, great company, and meaningful recognition.
Downtown Projects
Downtown beautification enhances the charm and appeal of our community. Projects like giving the Cabin some much-needed updating, adding greenery to the Triangle throughout the warmer months, and giving the light poles in the Triangle.
Oyster Grass Music Festival
Established in 1994, 2024 marks the 30th consecutive year of the Festival. Each year in July, music lovers flock to the small town of Kemmerer to enjoy a completely FREE, world-class music festival that would cost them hundreds to attend anywhere else.
